For the start of the new school year in 2025, 1st year students attended a special event with our graduates, Louis Caldas (class of 2021), Aline Dalbiez, (class of 2006), Victor Gerenton, (class of 2024), Vincent Goutallier, (class of 1989), Maïssane Merrheim, (class of 2024), Manon Nalpas, (class of 2020) and Marie Reinbigler, (class of 2021), who were invited to share their choices, experiences and advice.

The Round Table, moderated by Vincent Rigaud, tackled a wide range of concrete subjects relating to career guidance, career opportunities and involvement in student associations.

The discussions were rich and covered a wide range of topics:

• Why take an interest in research via a doctorate?
• What role can an engineer play in a government department?
• How can I become an entrepreneur?
• What are the real missions of an IT consultant?

These are just a few of the essential questions to keep future engineers thinking.

On this occasion, Christel Berthier, deputy director for alumni relations, presented the Télécom SudParis Alumni association, an active network made up of our students and graduates.
